Rethinking Recovery

Physical Activity Is An Essential Component Of Cancer Recovery.

Cancer is one of the toughest fights anyone can face, and we’re here with you.

Thanks to research and treatment advances, cancers such as invasive ductal carcinoma, inflammatory breast cancer, and others are being successfully treated with radiation and new advances in chemotherapy. By adding physical activity and social connection to treatment therapies the remission and healing process can be transformative.

NCCF takes it’s inspiration from groups like the Susan G. Komen 3 Day Walk in San Diego, the Make-A Wish Foundation, Livestrong and the YMCA, and others challenging the solutions for the critically ill. It can start with a small lump in the breast with a loved one, and the mind starts down a frightening path. That is where we can help as a cancer support and fitness organization North County Cancer Fitness is there to help your loved one or spouse with cancer.

We are here to help.

Cancer affects not only the person who is diagnosed, but also the lives of loved ones. Change your life and that of your family today. You may be referred to a physical therapist prior to working out if you have special issues that need addressed first, or if you are new to exercise. Taking your personal preferences into account, NCCF will direct, guide, and support you every step of the way in attaining and sustaining your fitness goals.
