Website | Tech Stack Support Volunteer

This volunteer would support the management of the NCCF website, Google Ad Grant program, G-Suite, DonorPerfect CRM system, and all integrated forms and API systems. This is an exciting opportunity to engage at the heart of a best of breed tech stack environment similar to many larger for profit organizations. Experience with desktop applications including Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro a plus.

Administrative Assistant

This valuable role will assist the Board President. Must have computer skills and be able to create documents and do research on the web as needed.

The Lead in Distribution of NCCF Marketing Brochures

This role would include being the “keeper” of our brochures and having a team of assigned people to do distribution of the brochures to key providers such as oncology offices, health and wellness related businesses, coffee shops, libraries, churches: etc. Your team would be accountable to you to ensure that the replenishment of the brochures are readily available to those who are in the best position to get the word out about our North County Cancer Fitness.

Coordinator of Healing Mini Workshops

Help organize and find presenters for bi-monthly workshops which typically take place mornings at a member’s home. Duties would also include creating flyers for the event, communicating through emails with members and keeping track of RSVPs. You would also help find volunteers to bring snacks/refreshments, purchase a thank you card and floral gift for the presenter, and make certain it is brought to the event by you or a person you delegate.

Ambassador Coordinator for New Participants (POSITION FILLED, THANK YOU)

The coordinator for new participants will ensure that an ambassador is there to meet and greet new participants and help them feel welcome. Many ambassadors are already designated but the coordinator would also help to create an organized system of ambassadors for each class with a back-up. The intake volunteer will inform this coordinator or one of the designated ambassadors when a new participant is joining a class.

Heart to Heart Outreach Liaison

We are looking for a volunteer who is willing to “stay in the know” about NCCF members who may be going through treatment, are sick, or are having a difficult time and could use some encouragement or cheering up. This volunteer would be the one to send a Get Well/Thinking of you card. This volunteer could also help with making calls to follow-up on participants who have not been in class recently or new participants who may have only come to class one or two times, and need a “nudge” to come back.

Participant and Donor Management Specialist

This valuable role will learn the DonorPerfect CRM system and keep our data base up to date. If you are good with computers and love detail and data, we need you!!!!
