The Color of Life

Her face told the story we wanted to hear

Was it the artist within painting a self-portrait

Or merely our quest for the broad strokes of liquid tranquility

To coat us in the freedom we perceived

Serene, simplicity, self-composed, serenity

Solace under the guise of chartreuse, peacock, violet, crimson

A life navigated without the angst

That evolves from doubt and uncertainty

Unfolding in the whimsical impression of color

Calm, cool, collected, confident

Living without the stress that clogs creativity

Breathing light

Emitting joy

A canvas in repose

Content, secure, clear, satisfied
